PERSONAL PROTECTION DOGS

We believe our prices are fair and certainly competitive. If you look at the spectrum of personal protection dog costs, you will see prices starting at around $10,000 all the way to $125,000. We are confident that our dogs will do everything a dog costing 125K can do and certainly outperform any dog costing 10k or less.

The factors that drive the cost of the dog are:

• the cost of a high quality canine –in 2024 the cost of a canine with outstanding bloodlines is usually $3,000-$10,000

• shipping costs (if the dog is purchased from a European breeder; usually $1,000-$2,000)

• the costs of housing the dog, caring for the dog, vet costs, food for the 18-24 months of time needed to get the dog fully grown and fully trained

• training time cost

A great personal protection dog takes consistent and daily training from the trainer, which is usually at least 1-3 hours a day of dedicated “training time” and also time to simply exercise the dog and socialize the dog. The higher the level of dog requested, the more time spent training all of the skills required.

The price of the personal protection dog is final. We do guarantee genetics and health for 6 months, but do not offer refunds for the price of the dog.

POLICE DOGS

Police dogs are usually cheaper than a fully trained personal protection dog, not because the dog is of lesser quality, but because the time required to train the dog is usually less. This is due to most police departments simply wanting a dog that has high drive, a high level of obedience, but not all of the skills need for a high-level personal protection dog. Examples of some things that police dogs usually don’t need are:

• being highly social

• being trained to prevent a car jacking or child abduction

• being able to sit quietly at a family picnic, while being on watch for any “bad guys”

ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING FOR YOU AND YOUR DOG — BASIC OBEDIENCE

$50-75 an hour (minimum 1 hour)

If you leave your dog with us, the cost is $130 a day, which includes:

• daily time spent training your dog

• daily time spent exercising your dog

• feeding, watering, and caring for your dog

We can provide you with the opportunity for us to evaluate your dog for the task you are hoping to train your dog. We can give you some “homework” to do with your dog and schedule time with us to work with you and your dog.

If desired, we can keep your dog for a scheduled amount of time to train them for you.
